Page 1 Time

Page 2 Time is something people made a long time ago. Time helps us know when things happened and when things will happen.

Page 3 Time moves in a line: past, present, and future. Time only moves one way. Time moves forward. The past already happened. We cannot change the past. The present is happening right now. Right now is this moment. The future happens later. It has not happened yet.

Page 4 Time keeps moving. We cannot stop time or change how it moves.

Page 5 Time keeps moving when I am playing. Time keeps moving when I am sleeping. Time keeps moving for everyone.

Page 6 Sometimes time feels fast. Sometimes time feels slow. But time always moves at the same speed.

Page 7 We can plan what to do with our time. Sometimes we can plan how long something will take. Sometimes we cannot know how long something will take. That is okay.

Page 8 Sometimes other people tell us how much time we have. That is okay too. We measure time in different sizes: seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years.

Page 9 A second is always one second. A minute is always 60 seconds. An hour is always 60 minutes. A day is always 24 hours.

Page 10 Time stays the same, even when I want it to be different. I can learn about time. I can use clocks, timers, and schedules to help me. Time keeps moving forward. I can do my best with the time I have.
