Privacy is part of the design

  1. Collect less.This site does not create visitor accounts or advertising profiles. Newsletter signup is optional and handled by Substack.
  2. Keep useful tools local.Personal schedules and imported calendar files stay in the visitor’s own browser whenever possible.
  3. Protect family details.Only information deliberately chosen for the public work belongs on this site.
  4. Name outside services.External videos, downloads, profiles, and websites are identified so visitors know when another service is involved.

What this site does not collect

Ordinary browsing does not ask for a name, email address, phone number, payment information, or account details. There are no user accounts, behavioural advertising cookies, or personal visitor profiles. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Newsletter subscriptions

The optional newsletter form is provided by Substack. When the embedded form loads or someone chooses to subscribe, the browser communicates with Substack. Substack processes the email address, subscription preferences, and related technical information under its own privacy policy. Newsletter subscriptions can be cancelled at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email.

Contact messages

If someone chooses to use the Contact form, we receive the name or nickname they provide, their reply address, the selected topic, and their message. We use that information only to read the message, consider the request or feedback, and reply when needed.

What stays on your device

The calendar maker saves its setup in your browser’s local storage. Imported .ics calendar files are read on your device and are not uploaded to this site. Printing and saving a PDF are handled by your browser. You can remove calendar data by using the tool’s reset button or clearing the site data in your browser.

Hosting and ordinary web requests

The site is hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Like other web hosts, Cloudflare may process technical request information—such as an IP address, browser details, requested page, and security logs—to deliver and protect the site. Its handling of that information is covered by theCloudflare Privacy Policy.

External services

Some pages use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, include an optional Substack newsletter form, link to APK files on Google Drive, show public reading information from Goodreads, or link to original image and product sources. The Contact form is processed by Web3Forms and forwarded to our inbox. The form also uses hCaptcha to reduce automated spam. Loading external media, following links, completing the human check, or submitting the form may share the information described here with that service.

Family and child privacy

Useful stories without unnecessary identifiers

This site includes parent-created resources and reflections based on real family experiences. It does not invite children to submit personal information. Home addresses, school information, private schedules, workplace details, passwords, API keys, account details, and private family photographs are not published. Screenshots are checked for personal tabs, email addresses, account names, and local file paths before they are shared.
