The verdict: Unhinged in the absolute best way possible. Adult surrealism done right.
Nicky Blue, you have one unbelievably creative mind. Reading this was an absolute ride—I found myself amazed, amused, bewildered, surprised, and thoroughly entertained from start to finish. It is mysterious, hilarious, adventurous, fantastic, and wildly unpredictable. Calling it “crazy” almost feels like an understatement!
To be clear, this is not Alice in Wonderland or a whimsical Mad Hatter trope for kids. This is that same brand of brilliant, boundary-pushing absurdity crafted specifically for an adult audience—packed with sharp twists, unexpected humour, and a storyline that keeps you completely hooked.
I genuinely wonder if Nicky Blue is even from this world, or if he is secretly an alien who experienced all of this firsthand and decided to write it down. I honestly cannot wrap my head around how a single human being managed to seamlessly blend so many different genres into ONE cohesive book.
If you are looking for one of the wackiest, most inventive, and deeply enjoyable sci-fi adventures out there, do not sleep on this book. It is a masterpiece of pure imagination!
